SMELL THE FUN

St. Luke’s director sez ’Potpourri’ is a merry mix of baroque tunes

When the St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble kicks off its season on the Cantor Auditorium stage in the Brooklyn Museum of Art on Dec. 15, what else would be on the program but "A Holiday Potpourri" of baroque music by the likes of Handel, Corelli, Telemann, Pachelbel and Bach? Comment.

VIVA ITALIA

The Brooklyn Public Library’s Italian heritage author series closes on Dec. 17 at 6 pm with a reading by poet Maria Mazziotti Gillan at the Central Library at Grand Army Plaza. Comment.

CLAIRE’S BIG ADVENTURE

NEW TOY BOX

The new front entrance to the Brooklyn Children’s Museum will be a sunny yellow beacon attracting families to the corner of St. Marks and Brooklyn avenues in Crown Heights when it is completed in 2006. The new entrance and expansion plans were unveiled by architect Rafael Vinoly on Wednesday morning at his design firm on Vandam Street in Manhattan. Comment.
