Thursday, June 28: The Brooklyn Academy of Music launches its “Afro-Punk Festival” toÂnight, treating the crowd to a discussion with famed Black Panther founder Bobby Seale. Two short films about the history of the Black PanÂthers will be shown and Seale will talk about the future of the movement. Bring your own beret.

Friday, June 29: Boozy crooner Ryan Adams might not be playing any local shows this summer, but you can listen to his new record, “Easy Tiger” tonight.
