Today at the Grand Street Campus High Schools, an eco-celebration — featuring electronic and textile recycling, a peformance from the Brooklyn Philharmonic’s jazz trio, and more — hopes to sustain the planet-loving momentum.

Sunday, April 27: Tonight, Bushwick-based artist Baraka De Soleil presents “Childr’n of ‘O,’” a workshop version of a comic, new theatrical production, at the Brooklyn Arts Exchange. The show, which fuses De Soleil’s work as a poet and playwright, explores the relationship of modern society with a cultural icon like Oprah Winfrey.
