Owners Marilyn Reid and Shawn Letchford opened this West Indian restaurant in 2001. Although they feature foods from all of the West Indian islands, their specialty is Jamaican food. Chef Derrick Williams’s menu is bold and exotic, with entrees including jerk chicken, oxtail and the garlic shrimp; all three are served with rice and peas with a side of steamed vegetables and plantains. For dessert, owner Reid recommends the pineapple cheesecake with guava sauce! Open daily from noon to 10:30 pm.
