Nobel Prize-winning author Toni Morrison
is coming to Park Slope to give a reading on Nov. 20 at 7 pm.
The engagement has been arranged by the Community Book Store of Park Slope, which will hold the event at the Old First Reformed Church on 126 Seventh Ave. at Carroll Street, according to store manager Lynne Oldhammer.
Morrison’s latest novel, "Love" (Knopf, $23.95), about women obsessed with hotelier Bill Cosey long after his death, is slated to be released on Oct. 28. Also a Pulitzer Prize-winner, Morrison, 72, is perhaps best known for her works "Song of Solomon," "Sula" and "Beloved." For more information about this event, call (718) 783-3075.
