On Sunday, Prospect Heights artists open
their studios to the public. From noon to 8 pm on Sept. 21, get
a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the mysteries of creating art
- from oil paintings to sculpture to video. Works by knitwear
designer Staceyjoy Elkin (pictured) will be on display at 651
Bergen St. Studio tour maps are available at Freddy’s Bar and
Back Room (485 Dean St.), Soda Bar (628 Vanderbilt Ave.) and
at Elkin’s Red Lipstick boutique (64 Sixth Ave.).
