The Brooklyn Museum of Art will be the
place to be on March 20 to view the "Creature from the Black
Lagoon." The 1950s classic film is being screened - in 3-D
- as part of the New York International Children’s Film Festival
at 1 pm and 4 pm.
Glasses will be provided to enjoy director Jack Arnold’s B-movie
tale about a scientific expedition that discovers a prehistoric,
semi-amphibious man in the Amazon.
"Creature from the Black Lagoon" is recommended for
ages 8 to adult. The Brooklyn Museum is located at 200 Eastern
Parkway at Washington Avenue in Prospect Heights. Tickets, which
