Brooklyn Bridge Realty

A 25-year-old woman was hanging out at the bar on the corner of Bridge and York streets when her high-end purse was grabbed off her chair. She got a good look at him, and the cops found him on the street moments later — the purse still on him.

Toy story

A 61-year-old man was robbed by a pair of perps who used what turned out to be a fake gun in DUMBO on Aug. 23.

The victim was walking on Dock Street near Front Street at around 8 pm when a young man and a 12-year-old kid approached him, pulled out what looked like a gun and said, “Give me all your money.”

The man complied, but the kids were caught soon afterwards by the cops. The gun turned out to be a fake.

Cop robbed

Everyone gets mugged sooner or later, even the police.

An off-duty cop was sitting in her car at the corner of Livingston Street and Hanover Place at around 3:45 pm on Aug. 20 when a man asked for directions.

The cop provided the assistance, but the man came back later and snatched her wallet, which had no money, but, ironically, her NYPD identification.
