A man robbed a livery driver in the early morning of Aug. 24 — and then tossed a piece of flip advice at the victim: “Next time, put in a partition or camera.”
That insult came after substantial injury to the 29-year-old driver, who had picked up his would-be fare at the taxi company’s dispatch office at Metropolitan Avenue between Haveymeyer Street and Marcy Avenue at around 3 am.
The driver took his rider to South Fourth and Roebling streets, where the man pulled a black handgun and pressed it against the driver’s neck, cops said.
The driver turned over $160 and the perp fled — but not before shouting back his unsolicited advice to the driver.
A man walking home — slowly — from the J-train station at Marcy Avenue and Broadway at around 4:30 am on Aug. 24 was mugged by two men, police said.
The victim told cops that he was walking on Marcy Avenue when the two men approached from behind and stole his asthma pump and $18.
