A humble deliveryman was beaten and robbed after dropping off food at an apartment on Seventh Street on Oct. 14.

Cops said the 44-year-old Sunset Park resident had just left the victuals at the building, which is between Eighth Avenue and Prospect Park West, at around 10:30 pm when three hooligans surrounded him and started punching.

They left the man bleeding on the ground as they fled with his hard-earned $56, cops said. All three were wearing black “hoodies.”

Not sweet cane

A minor fender-bender got ugly on Oct. 19 when a woman went after a man with her cane, cops said.

The victim, a 50-year-old resident of 20th Street, was pulling out of his spot in the parking lot of the Pathmark between Second Avenue and the Gowanus Canal when he apparently touched bumpers with a car belonging to a 55-year-old woman.

The enraged woman went at the man with her cane “causing pain,” according to the police report. She remained at the scene and was promptly arrested and charged with assault.

Chain ganged

A Williamsburg man who refused to sell his gold chain to a thug on the street ended up having the links ripped from his neck on Oct. 5, cops said.

The man told police that he on 11th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues at just after noon when the man approached and offered to buy the “Cuban-link” chain.

When the owner said no, the man took the chain while a second man held him down, cops said.

Caught in act

Piece of advice to perps on the lam: Try not to draw attention to yourself.

A wanted man learned that lesson on Oct. 14, when he was arrested after he threw a brick through the front glass door of a building at the corner of Prospect Park West and Ninth Street.

A witness saw the 10:30 pm crime, called cops and watched as officers arrested the 50-year-old man, who was wanted on a prior warrant, cops said.

Worse, the man had a switchblade in his back pocket, cops added, though he was only charged with burglary.

Tooling around

Someone stole hundreds of dollars in power tools from a Pacific Street apartment being renovated during the weekend of Oct. 12, cops said.

One of the workmen, a Bronx resident, told cops that when he returned to the apartment, which is at the corner of Fourth Avenue, on Monday morning, he noticed that the back door of the fourth-floor apartment was open and the tools were gone.

Cops valued the theft at $1,680.

Biking & typing

Be on the lookout for a thief using a laptop computer while he bikes.

That’s because a man broke into a Lincoln Place apartment on Oct. 15 and stole a computer and a fancy bicycle from the 36-year-old resident.

The woman told cops that she was not in the apartment, which is between Fifth and Sixth avenues, between 8 am and 10:30 pm.

Rink tagged

Paint-wielding thugs broke into the Wollman Rink in Prospect Park on Oct. 14 and left their tags all over the joint, cops said.

Names like “Zen,” “Remix,” “Crip 4 Life” and “East Sick Crip” covered the walls of the Parks Department facility after the Sunday night attack.

The dead-end kids also broke locks off of some of the lockers and stole a Motorola walkie-talkie.

Wheel trouble

At least three vehicles were stolen, and four more broken into, in the neighborhood last week:

• A 50-year-old man told cops that he parked his 1967 Vespa scooter behind the locked basement gate on his house, which is on Seventh Avenue between Park and Sterling places, at around 5:30 pm on Oct. 11. When he checked on the motor-scooter a few days later, it was gone.

The man told cops that he suspects his wife, who “refuses to discuss the whereabouts” of the motorized bike.

• A woman’s 1997 Honda Civic was stolen from its parking place on 13th Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues on Oct. 15, cops said.

The victim told police that she had parked the car at around 5:15 am. Eight hours later, it was gone.

• A $2,500 mountain bike was stolen from in front of a building on Seventh Avenue between Berkeley Place and Union Street on Oct. 17.

The man told cops he locked the bike at around 7 am, but it was gone seven hours later.

• Two of the four-car break-ins occurred along the quiet stretch of Flatbush Avenue between Empire Boulevard and Grand Army Plaza, a popular parking place for people going to the zoo and the Botanic Garden.

In the first case, a woman told cops that her purse, which contained $240, various cards and a cellphone, was taken from her Chevy Malibu on Oct. 16 at around 5:40 pm.

Two days later, also at around 5 pm, a woman’s Honda Accord was broken into and a cellphone, baby clothes and various cards were stolen, cops said.
