If the fried candy bars at the Chip Shop aren’t hitting the spot anymore, try grabbing a bite at its new neighbor Mediterra (381 Fifth Ave. at Sixth Street in Park Slope), which is serving up falafel, salads and Turkish, French and Italian fare.

Or if you’re in need of a pick-me-up, drop into Brooklyn Bean and Tea Company (355 Atlantic Ave. at Hoyt Street in Boerum Hill), a new specialty coffee shop that serves up an yuppie-friendly menu of coffee, tea and baked goods like organic biscotti.

Perennial Boerum Hill fave Lunetta (116 Smith St. at Pacific Street) is branching out. Last week, owner Adam Shepard opened a Manhattan outpost near Union Square.

“It’s an expansion of the brand,” Shepard told GO Brooklyn, “but I’m still there on Smith Street.”

Speaking of food on the move, we hear that a taco truck will be parking permanently on the corner of North Seventh Street and Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, where decent Mexican spots are still few and far between.

And DUB Pies (193 Columbia St. at Sackett Street in the Columbia Street Waterfront District), the Australian meat pie emporium, will be opening a second location in owner Gareth Hughes’s own neighborhood, Windsor Terrace. Look for DUB’s grub at 211 Prospect Park West, which also happens to be the location where Paul Auster’s “Smoke” was filmed.
