He leaves bar, then is jumped by 7

The Brooklyn Paper

A 26-year-old man was jumped by seven men who followed him home after an argument at a Fifth Avenue bar on Oct. 28.

The victim said he got into an argument with a man at the bar, near 95th Street, then left. But at 1:45 am, as he neared the corner of 95th Street and Marine Avenue, the man and six of his friends jumped out from a hiding place, punched him in the face and stabbed him in the arm, before fleeing on foot, cops said.

The victim was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The victim told police that the burglar must have broken through his front door at around 8 pm, then snatched the cash and the laptop from the apartment, which is between Ridge Blvd and Third Avenue.

Fanny packer

A 56-year-old woman told police that someone made off with her fanny pack at a Third Avenue Laundromat on Oct. 28.

The woman said the crime happened around noon when she absent-mindedly placed the fanny pack on the ground next to her before turning to fold her laundry. Minutes later, she discovered that it — and $50 inside — had vanished from the premises, which is near 70th Street.

Steve Doe

A 25-year-old man was stabbed several times by a mysterious man named Steve on Oct. 27, cops said.

The victim told police that the man came up to him and began an argument at the corner of 13th Avenue and 69th Street at 4:30 am, then pulled out a knife and stabbed him several times in the shoulder and once in the upper thigh.

The wounded man was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for his cuts, which were not considered serious, according to cops.

The man couldn’t give a description of his attacker, but did say his name was Steve.

Purse snatch

A thief stole a 26-year-old woman’s purse, which contained $3,000, from a bar on Fifth Avenue near 81st Street, at 1 am on Oct. 27.
