Flatbush fusillade hurts one

The Brooklyn Paper

A man shot off at least six rounds in what appears to be a random act of mayhem early on Nov. 17 in front of a Flatbush Avenue social club, cops said.

One man was hit by a bullet, but was not injured seriously, cops said.

Police said it was a miracle that no one was killed when the man pulled out a chrome automatic pistol and started firing outside the Ocean’s 8 club, which is at Park Place.

Money and cigs

Three gunmen burst into a bodega on Fifth Avenue at Fifth Street at 2 am on Nov. 18 and stole close to $1,000 and at least four boxes of cigarettes, cops said.

They also confronted a man taking money out of the bodega’s ATM, and forced him to surrender $180 he had just withdrawn.

Leave the butter

In a reverse version of “Last Tango in Paris,” a thief didn’t “get the butter,” but instead left a “metal tub” of it behind when stealing $10 from a flat on 14th Street apartment between Sixth and Seventh avenues on Nov. 12.

Followed home

A woman walking to her St. Johns Place home in the afternoon was followed into her building and robbed by a very big man on Nov. 15, cops said.

The victim told police that she had just gotten to the front door of her building, which is between Seventh and Eighth avenues when the 6-foot, 280-pound man pounced, telling her, “Don’t move.” He stole her bag, which contained $50, an iPod, a $250 yoga card, and more.

¡Ay caramba!

A Mexican restaurant on the corner of Garfield Place and Seventh Avenue lost $800 in a burglary on Nov. 15, cops said.

The owner reported that he discovered that the security gate had been rolled up and $800 was missing from the register.
