Did this woman kill local man?

Cops have released this sketch of the woman they believe fatally stabbed a man in the Best Western Gregory Hotel last week.

Police say they are looking for a 5-foot-2 Hispanic woman in her 20s who was last seen checking into the Fourth Avenue hotel with David Diaz, a 26-year-old Bay Ridge man who was beaten and fatally stabbed in a room on Dec. 3.

Diaz, who lived on Fifth Avenue and 76th Street, had checked into the hotel with the unidentified woman at around 3 pm on Dec. 2, but was not seen alive after that by the staff of the hotel, which is near 84th Street.

The suspect, on the other hand, was seen leaving the hotel before noon the next day, when Diaz’s bloody body was found by a maid.

Police did not release any further information, citing the ongoing investigation.

Diaz’s funeral was last Friday at St. Anselm Roman Catholic Church.
