This replica clock has finally been restored and installed on Flatbush Avenue at Sterling Place, thanks to the North Flatbush Business Improvement District.

Here, electrician Pasquale Ceriello makes final adjustments as BID Executive Director Dawn Torres and intern Taisha Patrick look on.

Is this a replica of a clock that once stood there?
Personally i don't think that store bought history works. If an antique clock stood there it could be a good idea to repair it, but to install a newly made clock in an antique style is pretty cheasy. Why not install an ultra modern clock with a brand new design? SOmething that would really stand out and be special.

Cortelyou Rd. got one too. It's on the corner of Rugby and Cortelyou. It's part of the streetscape that put in benches, bike racks, new trees and cobblestones.
BTW - Why isn't Flatbush or Ditmas Park listed in the "By Neighborhood" column.
