On Wednesday, April 30, over 500 hungry people crowded into Steiner Studios (left) in the Brooklyn Navy Yard for the 11th year of “Brooklyn Eats,” a celebration of food and entertainment from throughout the borough.
Dozens of restaurants and specialty food shops participated, including Caffe E Vino [112 DeKalb Ave. at Ashland Place in Fort Greene, (718) 855-6222], which brought (right) co-owners Patricia Alvarez and Elez Bucaj, employee Elvana Xhakollari and chef Herman Nieves to serve veal “palpettino” with tomato fondue.
