Mushkah disappeared last Wednesday and her human family is scouring the area around Seventh Avenue and 17th Street.

del.icio.usLord knows, we’re a little reluctant to start doing “Lost pet” stories, lest everyone from Greenpoint to Bensonhurst start sending us “Missing” posters, but how could we turn a blind eye to Mushkah?
This lovable gray desert lynx has been missing since last Wednesday from her home on the corner of Seventh Avenue and 17th Street, said her owners Bob Brockmann and Maya Solovey, who posted fliers all over the neighborhood.
Brockmann and Solovey are offering a reward for helping to find Mushkah, who may be in search of love.
“She’s in heat, so we believe she escaped to try to find a mate,” Solovey said.
Be on the lookout for a slender gray, eight-month-old cat with black stripes, a whitish face, black nose, yellow eyes and a white belly who may or may not be walking with a new boyfriend. If you see her, call Solovey at (917) 364-7755.
