With fantastic facilities and an amazing staff, Brooklyn Fencing has become hugely popular since its opening in 2003. Borough President Markowitz even proclaimed Sept. 26 “Brooklyn Fencing Day,” in honor of its first-ever competition.

Located in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn Fencing offers 6,000 square feet of space dedicated solely to the historic martial art. There are two main rooms and nine strips (the place where you do the actually fencing). Brooklyn Fencing also has armory service for all weapons, equipment rentals, locker rooms, and hosts birthday parties.

Whether you are a fencing expert or just a beginner, Brooklyn Fencing has a class for you, including group classes that meet once or twice a week or private lessons for those who are too advanced for a group.

Once you sign up for a class, all equipment is included.

Becoming a member is affordable and makes you eligible for various discounts and free rental equipment. Brooklyn Fencing hosts many competitions; as long as you are a member of the USFA, you are eligible to compete.
