It’s a par-ty at Dyker Beach

Couples might soon frequent the Dyker Beach Golf Course — and we’re not talking about the one named Fred.

Tuxes and veils could replace khakis and cleats at the 86th Street 18-hole course, where course officials are hoping that a $15-million renovation will turn the links into a wedding spot.

“The main goal was to turn the clubhouse into a premier event venue — not just a place for golfers,” said course spokesman Vincent Paciariello.

The costly overhaul, which should be completed by the end of the month, is intended to convert the clubhouse into a wedding-ready ballroom capable of hosting more than 300 revelers.

But the new facilities aren’t just for nuptials.

The renovations also court corporate clients for meetings with the 6,500-yard course as a backdrop, Paciariello said.

The project also included repairs to the pro shop, bar and grill, office space and catering facilities, as well as the installation of additional meeting rooms.

And Dyker Beach regulars have nothing to fear — workers did not change the par 71 when they refurbished the clubhouse.

Though Dyker Beach is a public course, it is run by American Golf, which funded the work.
