A true gym rat

Quick fix

A perp stole a man’s wallet on Nov. 24 as the victim was working out in a Boerum Place gym.

The victim told cops that the wallet had been in his jacket, which he put next to him at the treadmill at around 7:15 pm. But when he went to get a quick sip of water, a quicker-thinking exerciser grabbed the wallet, with $200 inside, and fled the gym, which is at Pacific Street.

Stealing from a baby

A thug grabbed a man’s wallet right out of his hand on Willoughby Street as he was pushing a baby stroller on Nov. 24.

The man told cops that he was near Lawrence Street at around noon with his wallet in hand. But, suddenly, the perp came up and snatched it.

The victim told cops he couldn’t chase the suspect because of the baby.

Mace face

A determined mugger sprayed a woman with Mace on Schermerhorn Street, and then stole her cellphone and wallet on Nov. 29.

The woman told cops that she couldn’t chase the mugger because her eyes were stinging so badly from the 7:30 pm pepper-spraying near the corner of Nevins Street.

DUMBO smasher

A perp broke into a Water Street office building and stole two laptops on Nov. 28.

Employees discovered the theft when they showed up for work at 12:45 pm and found a window of the building, which is near Anchorage Place, smashed in and the laptops gone.

Car gone-it

A burglar stole a man’s car from a spot near the corner of Doughty and Everitt streets on Nov. 28.

The victim told cops that he returned to the spot at 11:30 pm, and found nothing: no car and no broken class, either.

He’s no Clyde

A would-be bank robber tried to steal $2,850 at a Fulton Street bank on Nov. 29, but got too nervous and bailed out.

Cops say the man entered the branch, which is near Red Hook Lane, at around noon and presented documents, but no note, to the teller.

But the man suddenly turned around and fled before the teller even responded.
