One man slashed another man on Henry Street between Kane and Degraw street for $1, at 6:15 pm on Jan. 17.
The slasher had asked another man for the single dollar only to be told no — at which point he cut his victim’s thumb.
A thief filched some nifty gadgets out of a parked car on Dikeman Street on Jan. 16.
The 2006 Honda, parked between Richards and Dwight streets, contained a satellite navigation device and laptop computer at 1:45 pm — but when the owner returned at 3:15, they were gone.
The stolen property was worth $1,500.
A grocery on Clinton Street, between Luquer and Nelson streets, was robbed of cash and lottery tickets at 1:25 pm on Jan. 23.
The 48-year-old woman working in the store did not recognize the man who came in at 1:25 pm and demanded that she empty the register.
