Mother’s Day is coming up — look, you need a gift

If your mother is like ours, she loves you dearly, despite your faults. But if she’s like ours, she won’t accept not getting a gift on Mother’s Day. And, really, is that too much to ask (she raised you, you ungrateful cad)? Besides, it’s easy to get Mom (not her real name) something she’ll love, thanks to The Brooklyn Paper’s annual gift guide — this time with an eye towards the recession. You’ll be ready for Sunday, May 10 in style.
