Baby, it’s cold outside — so cold that the much-lauded Pearl Street Triangle in DUMBO is a sheet of ice. The Brooklyn Paper’s slip-and-fall editor Gersh Kuntzman caught up with a man who lost his footing, and, more important, his coffee, in a horrific incident on Tuesday morning.
Our friends at Gothamist noticed it, too, but we got our live video coverage up and online — including our interview with a bona-fide survivor! — before those bloggers got out of their pajamas!
UPDATE: Hours after our video was posted on BrooklynPaper.com, city workers shoveled and ice-picked the Pearl Street Triangle clean.
