Starter Mark Cohoon was positively unhittable as the Cyclones won their ninth game out of their last 10.
The starter earned his third straight win, going eight innings, giving up just three hits and striking out eight to lower his ERA to 1.35.
The offensive story was Luis Rivera, whose sixth inning, three-run dinger put the game away.
The Cyclones had gotten on the board in the fourth, also on a Rivera single.
