Moore murder
Cops nabbed a perp suspected of killing a 44-year-old woman with an errant shot in a July 10 gunfight.
The shooter fired repeatedly at an unidentified gunman near the corner of Moore Street and Bushwick Avenue, but one of his shots struck 44-year-old Jesselle Page in the shoulder as she sat in a playground outside her building watching her 8-year-old nephew at 4:42 pm, police reports indicate.
As the bullets flew, Page heroically carried the boy to safety inside the lobby of her building, our sister publication, the New York Post, reported.
Paramedics rushed Page to Woodhull Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead at 5:13 pm.
But police cuffed 24-year-old Terrance Villanueva the following day and charged him with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
