One ‘Antic’ of a Sunday

The Brooklyn Paper

Everyone from Mayor Bloomberg to the staff of The Brooklyn Paper enjoyed the city’s best street fair on Sunday, as the 35th Atlantic Antic stretched out from Hicks Street all the way to Fourth Avenue. Our photographer Tom Callan picked his way through the crowd and caught all the action, while Brooklyn Paper staffers handed out copies of their latest award-winning edition.

Joe Nardiello from District 39 says:

Great day for Brooklyn, sunshine and a million people enjoying Atlantic Ave. from across the globe. Braised beef sandwich, corn, bands, bellydancers, key lime & chocolate pops, politicians - it had everything. Plus, within the throngs of all places (proving its a small world) I'd finally met The Paper's own Gersh K. which to me, was an unexpected and appreciated highlight.
