Embattled Gov. David Paterson showed solidarity with the embattled congregation at the Kane Street Synagogue on Wednesday night, dining in the shul’s outdoor sukkah to mark the festive Jewish holiday of Sukkot. The eat-and-greet came just a 11 days after the synagogue was targeted by bigots from the Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church, who preached an anti-gay, anti-Jewish, anti-Obama sermon outside the house of worship.
