Help the NYPD find this rapist

The Brooklyn Paper

Cops are hunting this vicious thug who brutally raped a woman in the vestibule of a Greenpoint building on Oct. 20.

Police described the attacker as a 5-foot-9, 185-pound man in his 20s. A sketch distributed by the NYPD showed a thin mustache and slicked-back hair.

According to police, the man pushed the 25-year-old woman into a doorway at Manhattan Avenue and Diamond Street at about 4:30 am and sexually assaulted her.

The rape is the second this year in the confines of the 94th Precinct, which covers Greenpoint and part of Bushwick. Storeowners quickly put the “Wanted” poster in their windows in an attempt to nab him before he can strike again.

seb from greenpoint says:
Correct location is Diamond St between Nassau and Norman Avenue. Diamond St is parallel to Manhattan Ave.

WB from Williamsburg says:
The 94th precinct also covers parts of Williamsburg which is where most of the crimes occur. Funny how the reporter left that fact out.

captain obvious from bay ridge says:
Huh. Why doesn't the article say what race the attacker is? Oh, that's right, NO ARTICLES ON CRIMINALS SAY WHAT THE RACE IS UNLESS THE CRIMINAL IS WHITE!!! Could that possibly help people stay more alert if they said the attacker has a certain accent or what race he is? NAHHHHHHH gotta have more of that nonsensical white guilt for no reason other than fear that SOMEONE MIGHT BE OFFENDED!!!!! Disgusting.
