I thought slavery ended in America with the Civil War. Why are Park Slope (and Carroll Gardens restaurants) using illegal Mexicans as slaves???

I would like to suggest that the chef in this picture represents the DOL stepping on both the workers and the owners. What the DOL did and how they did it was irresponsible and has led many NY'er's to only one conclusion. Business owners Bad. DOL Good.
