The snowpocalyptic blizzard of Friday has yielded another upside: G and F trains will run normally this weekend!
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority had announced earlier this week that the lines would be severely disrupted due to track work — but that work has been cancelled, thanks to the snow.
That means full service — for once — on the circulatory system of Brownstone Brooklyn, said MTA spokeswoman Dierdre Parker.
It’s unclear whether the previously expected cuts — no F between Jay Street and Church Avenue and a G line split in two pieces — will happen next weekend. Parker said that the agency would release that information on Monday.
