Wag-nificent canine Cubby, winner of the “Most Resembles Owner” category, offers a prideful woof during Mutt Show at the Brooklyn Lyceum on Sunday, where the friendly fur flew in a battle pitting man’s best pals in the two-day benefit for Williamsburg’s BARC shelter.
Cubby shared the spotlight at the Park Slope performing arts venue with Williamsburg pet owners Jennifer and Jonathan Scott, and their pealing pooch, who clinched top honors for being the “Loudest Dog.”
The crowd-pleasing exhibition offered a tart sniff at the snooty Westminister Kennel Club’s annual dog show at Madison Square Garden, a tournament of the top purebreds in the nation.
