Nice piece. All the improvements slated for the plaza look like they are going to be great for everyone (peds, cyclists and motorists).

I've ridden my bike from the the park to Vanderbilt through the loop; that was fine. But I can't imagine many (if any) people attempt that merge on a bike. There's no reason to anyway -- you just ride on the (soon to be legal 2-way) bike lane straight from Eastern Parkway to Union.
