It doesn’t take a detective to figure out why Laurie Colombo won our coveted “Hottie of the Double-D” award this week.
Laurie and hubby Mike were taking a dip in the Douglass-Degraw Pool at Third Avenue and Nevins Street on Tuesday when our roving shutterbug’s zoom lens was paralyzed at the sight of the handsome duo.
He did what any professional would do under the circumstances: he picked his chin up off the floor, told the husband to get out of the frame, and started snapping pictures.
You’re welcome, Brooklyn.
It may not get any better than this, but we will endeavor to plod on this weekend, continuing the Lord’s work of forever protecting this beloved watering hole from the City Hall bean counters who threatened to close the darn thing in the first place.
So keep your eyes peeled for our roving photographer — poolside immortality might just be a few shutter stops away.
