A thug savagely struck a man’s face with a shovel on Broadway on Aug. 22 as he was walking home.
The perp approached the man near Rodney Street at 4:22 am and beat him unconscious, before fleeing towards Queens in a black motorcycle. The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
Two robbers were so desperate for cash that they cut a man’s jeans and ripped away his wallet on Meserole Street on Aug. 20.
The perps approached the victim who was walking on the sidewalk near Bogart Street at 9:07 pm, when they demanded cash. One creep pulled out a gray white knife and started cutting the victim’s jeans.
When they found his wallet, both thugs fled on bicycles, leaving their victim fashionably tattered, if $100 poorer.
A thug punched a man in his ear and as another stole his iPod on Broadway and Lorimer Street on Aug. 16.
Two perps followed his victim who was walking on Broadway at 4 pm and took him down from behind. The thieves rifled his pockets, before snatching his iPod and fleeing.
A thief stole a man’s Buick from Marcy Avenue on Aug. 10.
The driver parked his car near Grand Street at 1:30 am and headed out for a drink. But the car was gone when he returned two hours later.
A thief broke into a Graham Avenue apartment on Aug. 19 and stole a woman’s laptop.
The thief entered the unlocked building near Boerum Street after 1 am, grabbing its tenant’s laptop and wallet. The owner returned to the building at 10:30 am to discover the crime.
Thieves stole more than $30,000 in prescription drugs from a Flushing Avenue pharmacy on Aug. 17.
The thieves entered the building near Graham Avenue on 6:25 pm by breaking a wall next door. They grabbed several bags of medication before fleeing within the hour.
A thief broke into an Ainslie Street apartment on Aug. 20 and stole electronics.
The thief pried open the door of the building near Graham Avenue after 9 am and grabbed a computer, television and video game set. When a neighbor returned to the building two hours later, she discovered the theft.
