Someone plastered graffiti all over the side of a Greenpoint building to protest a non-profit company’s plans to build a homeless shelter for men there. HELP USA already has one shelter in Brownsville, where residents have complained of prostitution and drug use, but residents are rallying to stop the new facility on McGuinness Boulevard at Clay Street. HELP USA is run by the sister of Attorney General (and future governor?) Andrew Cuomo.

I saw pics and it's not really "plastered" it's more like they took chalk and wrote "say no to shelter" on the building. You make it sound like the opposition is violent or something. We just want our voices heard because the fact that they even proposed such a thing is a sign that they just want to trample on our history and ignore our knowledge and concern.

This Cuomo is trying to make the other Cuomo look good it's obvious. But it's gonna do the opposite.
