The Brooklyn Paper

Dry cleaned out

Someone stole $250 from a Fourth Avenue Laundromat overnight on Nov. 1.

Cops say that the thief climbed through the back window of the store, which is between 85th and 86th streets, to make his move after 10 pm.

No cents

Some vandal broke into a Fourth Avenue bargain store overnight on Nov. 2, but decided not to steal anything.

Cops say that the perp broke through the rear door of the discount shop, which is between 68th Street and Bay Ridge Avenue, after 10 pm. The ATM was knocked over, but the lackluster villain didn’t even try to get any cash out of it.

Fruit jerk

A burglar swiped cash from the register at San Marcos Produce on Fourth Avenue overnight on Nov. 3.

Cops say that the perp broke through the back door of the shop, which is between 68th Street and Bay Ridge Avenue, sometime after 3:30 am.

Tool time

A wannabe carpenter swiped nearly a dozen tools from a garage on 81st Street between Oct. 29 and Nov. 3.

The handyman homeowner told cops that the perp sneaked into his garage, which is between Colonial Road and Ridge Boulevard, to steal a drill, a screwdriver and several other pieces of equipment.
