A brutal brigand socked a woman in the head before snatching her purse as she walked into the Clinton-Washington subway stop on Jan. 22.
The victim told cops that her assailant sneaked up from behind at around 3 pm near the station, which is on Lafayette Avenue, placing his hand over her mouth, and whispering in her ear, “Shut up!”
He then punched her and flung her to the ground before swiping her bag, which contained an iPod.
A rowdy student clocked his teacher in the eye on Jan. 19, and was promptly arrested.
The bruised and battered educator, who works at PS 753 on Clermont Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Fulton Street, told cops that his student lost his cool at around 1:30 pm. Officer Nicholas Santos quickly arrived and slapped the cuffs on the insolent student.
A thug swiped a woman’s Apple laptop on Grand Avenue on Jan. 20.
The victim told cops that the thief made his move at around 2 pm near DeKalb Avenue and grabbed the computer out of her hands.
A thief snatched a woman’s purse — containing $940 — while she was shopping at Sleepy’s on Flatbush Avenue on Jan. 22.
The victim, who will probably be losing sleep about the crime, told cops that she set her purse down on a mattress at the bed store near the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Fulton Street at around 11:15 am. Minutes later, the thief had pilfered her Louis Vuitton purse.
The victim even saw the perp making his getaway, but was unable to apprehend him.
Once again, bandits are stalking the aisles of the sketchy Target at the Atlantic Terminal.
A cunning thief snatched an employee’s purse from a shopping cart while she was busy helping a customer on Jan. 23.
The victim told cops that her back was turned for no more than 30 seconds when the shopper-turned-thief made the grab at around 1:30 pm.
She lost an antique bag holding an iPod Nano.
A duo of thieves jumped a man at the corner of Gates and Clinton avenues on Jan. 23, but was quickly caught by cops.
The treacherous Bonnie and Clyde pair punched the victim in the face and didn’t stop even after grabbing his phone at around 6 pm.
Fortunately, Officer Edgar Gonzalez arrived at the scene to cuff the perps.
A thief jacked a 2001 Cadillac that had been parked on Willoughby Avenue on Jan 16.
The owner of the auto said he last saw his car at around 6 pm near Waverly Avenue. It was not there when he returned the next day.
