Pistol punk on Conover Street

The Brooklyn Paper

Pistol punk

A thug robbed a woman at gunpoint on Conover Street on Dec. 3.

The 30-year-old victim said that she was between Sullivan and Wolcott streets at around 7:20 pm when a man hit her in the back of the head with an object believed to be a gun. In the ensuing confusion, the thief snatched his victim’s Blackberry cellphone.

Cops recovered the muzzle of a silver pistol at the scene, but haven’t yet caught up the bundled-up jerk, who was wearing a fur-trimmed coat, the victim said.

Gym jerk

Someone stole a woman’s cellphone from a locker in a Court Street gym on Dec. 3 — but the thief did not get far.

The 30-year-old victim said she placed her bag in an unsecured locker in Body Elite, which is near Union Street, at around 2:49 pm. When she returned at 3:03 pm from her extensive workout, her iPhone was gone.

The crime was caught on camera, and Officer Victor Genao arrested a 30-year-old woman for the crime.

Bike grab

Someone gershed a bicycle from outside a Carroll Street home between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

The 40-year-old victim told cops she locked her $300 Trek mountain bike near Hicks Street at around 6:15 am on Nov. 30, and when she returned the next day at 2:30 pm, her trusty steed was gone.

Van damned

Someone stole tools and computer equipment from a van on Bay Street between Dec. 1 and Dec. 2.

The 37-year-old victim said that he left the van near Hicks Street at 9:30 pm and when he returned the next day at 9 am, the driver’s-side window was shattered, and a modem, navigation system, tool belt, and drill were gone.
