MTA workers missed their deadline for some repairs at the long-decrepit Jay Street-Borough Hall station, so they did what anyone might do: they changed their deadline.
As these pictures show, the work on one of the stairways was supposed to be completed by Jan. 31. When it wasn’t, a worker make the necessary adjustment.
The contractors did the same thing after missing a Dec. 31 deadline last year. The only difference in that case? We weren’t smart enough to take a picture that time!
