Spike Lee is finally coming back to Brooklyn — albeit just to sell stuff.

The filmmaker, who has traded on his Brooklyn street cred for decades, though he long ago left for Manhattan, tweeted yesterday that he’ll make a personal appearance at “Spike’s Joint,” a one-day “pop-up store” featuring new and vintage gear from Lee’s 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks.

“2 days ’til the Spike’s Joint Pop Up store,” Lee tweeted. “I’LL BE THERE.”

Neither Lee nor the filmmaker’s company returned calls about the mysterious event, which will take place from noon to 6 pm at the 40 Acres headquarters on S. Elliott Place.

If the promise of seeing Lee or buying his duds isn’t enough, you can even sign up to be an extra in a Lee-directed pilot for a new HBO show at an open casting call.

Spike’s Joint Pop-up Store at 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks [75 S. Elliott Pl. at Lafayette Avenue in Fort Greene, (718) 624-3703], Oct 8, noon to 6 pm.
