I was recently a judge at an essay contest on this subject: If Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream in 2011 what would it be?
Performances at the Westminster Bethany Baptist Church were impressive, and all of the young ladies, between the ages of 14 and 17, represent the future of our community.
The voices of the young, gifted and black students share my sentiments about values our community must focus on to ensure a progressive future for all Americans: character and education, civility and activism, work and goodwill.
