Two thugs attacked a woman on N. Ninth Street on July 27 — and drove off in her $60,000 car.
The victim told police she was getting out of her 2009 black Jaguar between Berry Street and Bedford Avenue at 9 pm when the brute came up behind her and put her in a chokehold. A second robber pointed a black handgun at her head and demanded her car keys. She gave them the keys and they drove off.
Police arrested one of two men who they say broke into a man’s Jewel Street apartment and attacked and robbed him on July 28.
The victim told police he entered his apartment between Norman and Meserole streets at 4 am and was attacked by two men, who beat him on the head, face, and arm. The invaders then stole his Herschel bag, which contained his apartment keys, a shirt, and the book “The Idiot” by Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
Two thugs attacked a man on Havemeyer Street on July 29 — and took off with his wallet, driver’s license, credit card, and cash.
The victim told police he was near N. Seventh Street at 4:30 am when two men came up to him and began punching him. When the victim fell to the ground, the robbers put their hands in his pockets and took his belongings. They then ran up N. Seventh.
The victim was left with bruising to the side of his face.
A pair of teenaged boys attacked a woman on Conselyea Street on July 30 — and ran off with her iPhone.
The victim told police that she was near Humboldt Street at 4:20 pm when one of the boys pushed her and the other grabbed her cellphone. The two played tug-of-war with the it, but the thug eventually won.
An agile thief tore a L train straphanger’s bag off of his leg as the train pulled into the Bedford Avenue station on Aug. 3.
The victim told police that he was on the train near N. Seventh Street at 8:30 am when the crook grabbed his bag and jumped onto the platform as the doors were closing. The victim managed to pry the doors open before they closed all the way and chased the thief, but the bandit blended into the crowd and got away.
Burglars broke into an apartment on Engert Avenue on Aug. 3 and stole several pieces of jewelry.
The victim told police the bandits broke into the apartment between Graham Avenue and McGuiness Boulevard sometime between 7 am and 4 pm and tore the place apart, stealing a diamond ring, an 18K wedding band, gold earrings, a gold chain with a medallion, and a gold bracelet.
