Cops are on the hunt for five suspects who looted 20 pairs of pants from an Urban Outfitters in Cobble Hill on March 26.

The crooks waltzed into the trendy clothing store on Atlantic Avenue one-by-one at 8 pm pretending to be customers, police said.

One or more bandits distracted the store clerk inside the retail franchise between Clinton and Court streets while the others swiped the stylish trousers and ran off.

No injuries were reported.

Four of the suspects were believed to be between the ages of 25 and 35, cops said. There is no information on the fifth man.

Police released grainy surveillance images of some of the crooks in the hope that the public could help identify them.

Anyone with information regarding this heist should call Crimestoppers at (800) 577-8477. All calls will be confidential.

Reasonable discourse

Johnny Hammersticks from Brooklyn says:
Oh boy, 20 pairs of skinny jeans that will never have the chance to have PBR spilled on them or have the crotch worn out by the seat on a Schwinn.

I bet if this happened at a Rocawear or a Foot Locker, this newspaper wouldn't have even sniffed this story.

John Wasserman from Windsor Terrace says:
Hi Johnny Hammersticks. My name is John Wasserman-how do you do? I hope you don't mind my asking what exactly you have against Schwinn bicycles? They are a classic, quality bicycle, and I happen to love my Schwinn. Nobody has ever called me "hipster" or "yippee". Although I do get the occasional "hey, nice bike; you're keeping it up wonderfully". Pardon the interruption.

Johnny Hammersticks from Brooklyn says:
Hello John. I have nothing against Schwinn bicycles, and I don't assume that everyone who owns a Schwinn is a hipster. But you never see a hipster riding a Huffy.
