The changing of the guard took place in April, but, this month, new Fraser Civic Association (FCA) President Tom Hernandez took a break from organization business to recognize his predecessor.
Hernandez presented Bob Nadel, who had served as FCA’s head for the past several years, with a plaque in recognition of his efforts.
Hernandez had been the group’s vice president prior to Nadel’s stepping down. Nadel succeeded Barry Smith, the longtime FCA president.
The May meeting of FCA was held at Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel, 1271 East 35th Street.
