A bruiser allegedly stabbed a man in the side with a pair of scissors on N. Portland Avenue on Sept. 8.

The victim told police he had gotten into a verbal argument with his assailant near Park Avenue when the man drove the scissors into his right side. When officers arrived on the scene, the victim pointed out his attacker, who was arrested on assault charges.

The victim was brought to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was treated for a punctured lung.

Random attack

A woman was walking down Flatbush Avenue on Sept. 9 when a stranger punched her and stabbed her with shards of glass.

Police said the brute approached the woman near Ashland Place and started punching her in the face. As the woman tried to defend herself, her attacker picked up a piece of a broken bottle and stabbed her in the back, leaving a four-inch gash.

Not showing ID

A burglar broke a window and stole two bottles of wine from the Rhodora Wine Shop on Adelphi Street on Sept. 1.

Police said the man allegedly tossed a brick through the window of the shop near Willoughby Avenue, damaging a table inside, reached in, and grabbed two bottles of wine worth about $60 before running away.

The suspect was later arrested on unrelated charges.

Not the timbs!

A sneak broke into a home on Emerson Place and stole over $1,000 of construction equipment and shoes on Sept. 9.

The victim told police the thief used a screwdriver to open the front door of his apartment near Myrtle Avenue, then made his way to the basement and forced open the door to the supply closet, where he packed up drills, two different saws, a charger, and a pair of Timberland boots.

Liquor lifter

A bandit broke into The Great Georgiana on DeKalb Avenue and lifted cash and a bottle of liquor early in the morning of Sept. 11.

Police said the rogue broke the front door of the bar at the corner of Vanderbilt Avenue and stole $100 in cash and a bottle of liquor worth $60 before going back out the way he came.

Playground theft

A prowler lifted a woman’s backpack while she was hanging out with her family at the Fort Greene Playground on Myrtle Avenue on Sept. 7.

The victim said she was packing up her belongings near the corner of St. Edwards Street when she realized her black Puma backpack was missing, police said. She hadn’t seen anyone grab the bag, which also contained her Apple AirPods, ID, debit card, and food stamp card.

Watch the waiting room

A goon stole a backpack containing a laptop, wallet, and headphones out of a waiting room at The Brooklyn Hospital Center on DeKalb Avenue on Sept. 8, police said.

The victim told police he left his backpack unattended for about 15 minutes in the hospital’s 8th floor waiting room, and a sneak grabbed the bag and left the building. The bag’s owner got a notification that his credit card had been used to make a purchase at a Foot Locker on Fulton Avenue and decided to go to the store, where he found the thief holding his backpack and took it back.

Citibike stolen, not docked

A freebooter took grabbed an unlocked Citibike with a bag in its basket on Flatbush Avenue on Sept. 8.

Police said the victim had left his rented Citibike and his bag containing keys, his debit card, and headphones outside a McDonald’s near Fulton Street while he went inside to grab some food. As he bought his meal, someone grabbed the bike and rode off.
