Two “outstanding” women were delivered a tall salute during an honor tea, presented by the Bay Ridge Business and Professional Women’s Club.
The repast, held at Bay Ridge Manor, 476 76th Street, served to honor the pair for their contributions to the community.
The honorees were: June Johnson, chair of the Relay for Life of Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst and Dyker Heights; and Dr. Anna V. Sarubbi, a primary care physician at Maimonides Medical Center.
In addition, long-standing members were honored with service awards and a local student received a scholarship.
The tenure award recipients were: Marie A. Scrivani, 35 years; Regina Farkouh and Patricia Killen, 10 years; and Camille Gallo, five years. Kingsborough Community College graduating student Kayan Saadeh was awarded the scholarship.
The Club was established in 1953 as an advocacy organization for working women.
