Boo Who!
Nerd bar the Way Station will screen the scariest episodes of “Doctor Who” from 4–8 pm; followed by a live “shadow-cast” performance of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” “Scary-oke” —a costumed karaoke show — and a costume contest.

Monster munch
What is a better treat than a full-size candy bar? A candy apple from award-winning pastry chef Francois Payard! The acclaimed chef will oversee trick-or-treating at the Estuary Brasserie in Brooklyn Bridge Park this afternoon, where kids can pick up a delectably free candy apple dipped in either caramel, chocolate, or sugar. And at the Halloween Happy Hour, grown-ups in costume will get a complimentary cocktail.

Arch enemies!
The Dumboween kids’ costume party will start with scary stories at Brooklyn Roasting Company, followed by a parade through the streets to the Archway Under the Manhattan Bridge at 5 pm, led by the Funkkrust Brass Band. Under the Arch will be a followed by a party with candy, photo booths, music, and more.

Dark Slope
This year the Park Slope Halloween Parade has a theme of “Mother Earth” — so dress as a spooky tree? Or as global warming? However you interpret the theme, the parade always has lots of great outfits and giant puppets, and it will end with a party at the Old Stone House.

Try to sing along!
Join Brad, Janet, Rocky, Dr. Scott, and the Occasionalists — Brooklyn’s premiere live karaoke band — for an evening of “Rocky Horror Picture Show” karaoke. Sign up to sing “Sweet Transvestite” with a full band behind you, don some golden shorts for the intermission’s costume contest, and enter the raffle for fabulous prizes. Sunday Scaries
Once upon a time, there was restaurant called Sunday in Brooklyn. This restaurant wanted to throw a party with a fairy tale theme, but because it was Halloween, it became a Scary Tale theme! Costumes are required, so dress as a hungry wolf, an evil witch, or other spooky character from folklore, and enjoy plenty of booze, live entertainment, face-painting, and a costume contest. Scream with laughter!
Stop by Greenpoint bar the Springs to brave “The Walk of Fear” in its backyard, a collection of spooky figures and tableaus. Thrills and chills
Once Halloween is over, you will have one final excuse to don your bloody best: “The Coney Island USA Creeptacular.” This ghoulish fund-raising gala will feature plenty of potions, performances from snake charmer Serpentina, burlesque beauties and beasts, and a sneak peek at the seaside arts organization’s next demented musical, “Bloody Brains in a Jukebox.”
