The 18th annual BayFest, Sheepshead Bay’s yearly festival of the fleet presented by the Bay Improvement Group (BIG), will be held from 12−6 p.m., May 17 along Emmons Avenue.
Created to celebrate New York City’s unique waterfront community, the event will be filled with attractions for the entire Sheepshead Bay community, including:
• Six hours of free entertainment on the main−stage featuring top musical acts, artists performing traditional sea chanteys, and musical stars of the ’60s and today;
• Exhibits by the New York Aquarium, FDNY Fireboat demonstration and many others;
• Kids attractions and activities, including games and amusements.
