Borough entrepreneurs looking to open or expand their businesses have a local place of support, thanks to the opening of a new assistance unit at City Tech.
Local officials and educators helped celebrate the arrival of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), located on the eleventh floor of the learning institute, 25 Chapel Street, which will serve as a central location for Brooklyn business owners.
On hand was Rep. Nydia Velazquez, chair of the U.S. House Small Business Committee.
The SBDC operates through a network of 23 regional centers to deliver free business counseling and training.
