The US Army will be celebrating their 233rd Birthday on June 14 with fun activities at Shea Stadium, 123-01 Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing Queens.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., after the Amazin’s play the Texas Rangers, Brigadier General Terpeluk will make a guest appearance, future soldiers will be sworn in at a special ceremony; a birthday cake ceremony; SFC Constance Campbell singing the National Anthem, and the Golden Knights demonstrating a special parachute jump.
So come on down to Shea Stadium, enjoy the game that captures America’s heart and celebrate 233rd Army years of service to this country.
